SSDF Organizes Art Exhibition in Balad to Promote Community Cohesion and Reintegration

On 27 March 2024, SSDF, in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), hosted an art exhibition at Lebanon Mixed Primary School in Al Rawashed, Balad, Salah Al-Din, Iraq. The exhibition showcased students' creativity through a diverse collection of paintings, handicrafts, and scientific presentations. The activities were designed to promote cultural understanding and create opportunities for dialogue and peace, contributing to the healing and reintegration of returnees into their communities. The event was attended by representatives of the Educational Supervision Department in Balad, school principals, teachers, and community leaders. Their participation reflected a shared commitment to supporting returnees and highlighted the important role of education and the arts in building resilient and cohesive communities.
