The session was attended by representatives of the camp administration, local organizations operating within the camp, an official delegate from the Semel District Directorate of Education, and headteachers from the camp’s schools.
The meeting focused on identifying the most pressing challenges confronting the camp, with primary attention given to the educational sector. Schools across the camp are currently dealing with severe operational obstacles, including:
- Severe Shortage of Teaching Staff: A critical deficit in instructional personnel relative to high student enrollment figures.
- Curricular Delays: Significant delays in administering specific subjects and instructional curricula since the onset of the current academic year.
- Shortage of Logistical Supplies: A marked deficiency in essential school materials, equipment, and logistical resources.
These urgent needs and recommendations were formally submitted and endorsed as critical priorities demanding immediate action from relevant governmental authorities and humanitarian partners, aiming to bridge existing gaps and ensure the continuity of education for students.
Sorouh for Sustainable Development Foundation reaffirms its steadfast commitment to backing initiatives and interventions that serve affected communities, emphasizing the necessity of collective stakeholder cooperation to effectively resolve these issues without delay.
