On 9 June 2024, SSDF, in partnership with Save the Children, held a meeting for Youth Club members at Al Meshahda Child Protection Center in West Mosul, Ninewa Governorate, Iraq. The meeting brought together 15 members, including 5 boys and 10 girls, aged 15 to 18 years. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of youth initiatives proposed during the previous meeting. The initiatives focused on topics including cyber extortion, violence in society, environmental awareness, gender equality, mental health, and civic education. The meeting was facilitated by two SSDF staff members, who supported participants in reviewing their objectives, assigning responsibilities, identifying challenges and solutions, and concluding with a summary of the action plan.
