Sorouh Joins Partners in Sulaymaniyah to Advance the "Back to Education" Campaign

SSDF took part in the "Back to Education" campaign meeting held in Sulaymaniyah Governorate. The meeting was sponsored by the Iraqi Ministry of Education, supported by UNICEF, and funded by the Government of the Netherlands (via the PROSPECTS program), the German Development Bank (KfW), and the Government of France.

These collective efforts have contributed to the return of 92,843 children to school—marking the beginning of an ongoing journey.

Representatives from the Ministry of Education, UNICEF, and partner organizations discussed plans for the upcoming phase in preparation for the 2026–2027 academic year. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuing efforts until every out-of-school child returns to the classroom, driven by the firm belief that education is a fundamental right that equips children with knowledge and builds a better future.
